Problem

Developers who want to use Amazon SES for application email must manually configure domain verification, DKIM/SPF/DMARC records, event tracking pipelines, bounce and complaint handlers, and analytics tables—a process that can take a week and leaves operational gaps. Existing alternatives are either raw SES with no tooling or third-party sending APIs that markup costs and take ownership of the sender's reputation and data.

Solution

Wraps provides an open-source, self-hosted infrastructure layer that deploys the entire SES surface into the user's own AWS account in about two minutes. A single command verifies the domain, configures authentication records, deploys an event pipeline, creates analytics tables, and activates bounce and complaint handlers. The platform includes a control plane dashboard for monitoring sending health, deliverability audits, and suppression management, with all infrastructure running under the user's own AWS identity via a revocable IAM role—no stored credentials.
