Current methods of securing endotracheal tubes (ETTs) often rely on adhesives, straps, or wires that can cause pressure injuries on the face and mucosa. These methods can also make it difficult to access the oral cavity for effective oral hygiene, increasing the risk of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and other complications.
