Problem
Generating primary neuronal cultures for research is time-consuming, especially when gender-specific cultures are required to address NIH guidelines. These cryopreserved cells can be thawed on demand to rapidly generate miniaturized cell cultures, eliminating the need for immediate dissection and genotyping. The company is also developing a device to selectively remove dead cells from cultures derived from cryopreserved preparations.
