East End Medical's SafeCross™ Transseptal Radiofrequency (RF) Puncture and Steerable Balloon Introducer System is an all-in-one system designed to streamline left atrial access. The system integrates RF puncture, balloon positioning, and steerable introducer sheath functionalities into a single device. A 10 mm safety stop helps prevent uncontrolled punctures into the left atrial posterior wall. The bi-directional steerable introducer sheath facilitates navigation of catheters and guidewires to the target treatment areas, potentially eliminating the need to ascend the superior vena cava (SVC). The system is compatible with commonly available electrosurgical generators.
