The technology employs a moving-bed process, which reduces the energy consumption typically associated with DAC. Large fans draw air through filters containing engineered chemical sorbents that selectively bind CO₂. The CO₂ is then released from the sorbent material through heating, resulting in a concentrated stream of CO₂ that can be either stored permanently or used in various industrial applications. The filtered air, now depleted of CO₂, is released back into the atmosphere.
