Pretect Devices is developing Vedette®, a non-invasive, continuous monitoring device designed for the rapid detection of PIV infiltration and extravasation in infants. Vedette® aims to prevent extravasation injury (EVI) by automatically shutting off the IV pump and alerting healthcare staff to compromised IV line integrity.
