Entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, tamper-evident, and timestamped the moment they are created; no human at Persephone can read them, and nothing is released unless the user chooses to export or share it. Users can designate one or two "safe people" who are notified of nothing unless the user shares the file, and can export their record via PDF, certified hardcopy, or an SOS file sent directly to police.
