Solution
Levation Pharma is developing LEV-102, a proprietary, rapidly drying aqueous gel containing oxymetazoline for the treatment of acquired blepharoptosis. Applied topically to the upper eyelids once daily, LEV-102 is designed to penetrate the eyelid and stimulate Mueller's muscle, the involuntary "fight or flight" muscle responsible for elevating the upper lid. By inducing a slight contraction of this muscle, LEV-102 aims to lift the upper eyelid, thereby improving the visual field and rejuvenating the appearance of the eye. The odorless, colorless gel is formulated with stabilizers and permeation enhancers and can be used as an eyeshadow primer.
