Problem
Traditional single-cell analysis methods often struggle to track individual cells across multiple experimental cycles and data platforms, hindering comprehensive biological discovery. Current barcoding techniques can interfere with standard assays and limit the scale of multiplexing.
Solution
LASE Innovation provides LP Cell Barcoding, a technology that uses novel light-emitting particles (LP™) to enable massively multiplexed barcoding of cells. These nano-to-micron-sized particles with narrowband emission are tuned to over 1000 possible wavelengths and attached to the cell surface. This allows for single-cell identification and tracking across multiple cycles of flow cytometry and other omics platforms, combining data into a single FCS file for analysis. The LP™ cell barcodes do not interfere with standard assays, enabling researchers to track hundreds of thousands to millions of cells.
Target Audience
The primary customers are researchers in life sciences using flow cytometry, microscopy, sequencing, in vivo studies, and drug screening for single-cell analysis.
