Problem
Social networks often struggle to maintain user engagement and data ownership, leading to user frustration and platform abandonment. Users lack control over their content and the platform's evolution, resulting in a disconnect between the community and the platform's direction.
Solution
Landing was a social network designed to connect users based on shared interests and creative pursuits, fostering online communities around specific topics. The platform enabled users to discover and engage with like-minded individuals. However, the platform was shut down on September 18, 2024, and users were directed to download their content before this date. The team has launched a new platform called Zeen, building on the lessons learned from Landing.
Target Audience
The primary users were individuals seeking to connect with others who share their interests and creative passions.
Features
- Connection with like-minded individuals based on shared interests.
- Tools for creating and sharing content within online communities.
