Problem
The nascent electric vehicle (EV) market in Mexico faces a significant hurdle due to the limited availability of high-speed, interoperable charging infrastructure. This scarcity restricts EV adoption and creates range anxiety for drivers, hindering seamless intercity travel.
Solution
IonDrive is establishing Mexico's inaugural universal paid electric vehicle charging network, providing CCS DC fast charging capabilities ranging from 100 to 350 kW. The company strategically partners with commercial real estate developers, public parking operators, and energy providers to deploy charging stations across key locations. By collaborating with automotive manufacturers and other Charge Point Operators (CPOs), IonDrive aims to facilitate seamless EV travel throughout North America, addressing the current infrastructure deficit.
Target Audience
IonDrive targets electric vehicle owners in Mexico seeking reliable and high-speed charging solutions, as well as automotive manufacturers and fleet operators looking to expand EV adoption.
