Recycling mixed plastic waste streams containing polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and polar polymers like EVOH, PA, or PET is challenging due to the incompatibility of these materials, leading to reduced mechanical performance and visual defects in recycled products. Achieving strong adhesion between polyolefins and other materials in automotive, packaging, and other applications often requires hazardous primers or costly pretreatments. Polyolefin products also often suffer from fogging.

Interface Polymers provides Polarfin® diblock copolymers, customizable additives that enhance the compatibility of mixed plastics, promote adhesion between dissimilar materials, and provide anti-fogging properties to polyolefins.
