HyperKelp provides hosted payload buoys, called Kelp Smart Buoys (KSBs), that enable real-time data access from the ocean's surface, addressing the challenges of traditional ocean monitoring. These buoys allow researchers, environmental managers, and maritime organizations to deploy sensors and collect oceanic data without needing to develop and maintain individual infrastructure. The KSBs can host up to 20 sensors and deliver data in real-time to internet-accessible dashboards, ensuring users have access to the most up-to-date information. The M-Class units can be rapidly deployed by existing sonobuoy delivery systems, allowing for quick sensor deployment.
