Problem
Current epigenomics technologies are limited in their ability to simultaneously profile multiple epigenetic marks and samples, resulting in low throughput and high costs. Researchers are often forced to screen for either DNA methylation or histone post-translational modifications (HPTMs) separately, requiring considerable input material and making quantitative comparisons across studies difficult.
Solution
Epigenica's EpiFinder™ platform is a multiplexed ChIP-seq technology that enables high-throughput analysis of epigenetic marks, allowing scientists to explore epigenetic biomarkers with increased speed, scalability, and affordability. Powered by the patented hmqChIP-seq technology, the EpiFinder™ platform overcomes barriers to epigenetics research by combining DNA methylation and HPTM analysis in a streamlined workflow, using low amounts of input material, and generating quantitative epigenomic maps. The EpiFinder™ Genome kit, the flagship product, allows researchers to simultaneously target up to 8 epigenetic markers in up to 24 samples, generating 192 quantitative genome-wide profiles. A customized analysis pipeline enables an automated workflow from FASTQ to demultiplexed and quantitative data.
