EmbryoSpace
Embryo Space provides a Windows-based desktop application that converts system requirements review packages into complete Preliminary Design Review (PDR) drafts. The tool automatically extracts requirements, risks, and interfaces from source documents, then generates an 18-section PDR with traceability matrices, gap analyses, and risk assessments, with every finding cited back to the original source. It operates fully offline with optional AI analysis via the customer's own Anthropic API key, making it suitable for ITAR/EAR-controlled environments.

Problem
Systems engineering teams preparing for Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) face the labor-intensive task of manually compiling requirements traceability matrices, verification and validation plans, risk registers, and budget allocations from scattered source documents. This process is time-consuming, error-prone, and often results in missed inconsistencies or unaddressed gaps that review boards will flag, leading to costly rework and schedule delays.
Solution
Embryo Space provides a desktop application that automates the transformation of system requirements review packages into complete PDR drafts. The tool extracts every requirement, risk table, TBD/TBR item, and interface from source documents, then applies a systems-engineering rule engine to identify conflicts, missing verification methods, unallocated requirements, and other issues a review board would find. It generates an 18-section PDR built to NASA NPR 7123.1D, IEEE 1528.2, and ECSS criteria, with every block carrying citations and confidence scores. The application runs entirely on the user's Windows machine with no cloud backend, and AI analysis is opt-in, using the customer's own Anthropic API key, ensuring data never leaves the building.
Target Audience
Primary customers are systems engineers, program managers, and engineering teams at defense contractors, aerospace companies, and other organizations that must produce PDR packages for government or prime-contractor review, particularly those working in ITAR/EAR-controlled environments.
Features
- Automated extraction of requirements (SYS-xxxx format), risk tables, TBD/TBR items, and interfaces from PowerPoint, Word, PDF, Excel, and CAD files with source locations preserved
- Systems-engineering rule engine that identifies conflicting requirement definitions, missing verification methods, unallocated requirements, and TBX items without closure plans
- Tracked budgets with margin measurements, linked risk breach probabilities with ΔP rankings, and mitigation spend ranked by return per $1k
- Joint cost and schedule confidence (JCL) calculations to assess whether committed numbers are defensible
- 18-section PDR generation aligned with NASA NPR 7123.1D, IEEE 15288.2, and ECSS criteria, with citations and confidence scores for every block
- Notion-style editor that preserves user edits across document regeneration
- Fully offline operation with no telemetry or accounts, compatible with ITAR/EAR-controlled environments by architecture
- Optional AI analysis using the customer's own Anthropic API key, off by default, with a fully deterministic and local core pipeline
