Traditional methods of creating multi-functional antibodies are challenging and require extensive protein engineering, leading to long development cycles.

DotBio leverages its DotBody technology platform, based on a modular design concept, to generate multi-functional antibody therapies. The platform uses prefabricated antibody modules with specific functions that can be combined on demand to build bi- and tri-specific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and intracellular antibodies. This high-throughput process allows for the rapid generation and testing of numerous prototype molecules with different specificities and configurations in parallel to identify optimal therapeutic candidates. The DotBody technology is combined with Hot-CoFi stabilization technology to improve the stability and solubility of DotBodies, leading to better developability and safety profiles.
