By eliminating the need for external equipment like magnets or centrifuges, the platform significantly reduces processing time and resource expenditure. The process leverages gravity and chemotaxis for cell selection, followed by activation and collection in distinct niches within the device, facilitating up to five days of cell expansion without media changes.
