Current cancer immunotherapies often lack tumor selectivity, leading to systemic toxicity and limited efficacy, especially for solid tumors with challenging targets. Existing treatments like engineered cell therapies are complex, individualized, and expensive to manufacture, restricting broad patient access. Solution
CDR-Life is developing next-generation T cell engager (TCE) therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, overcoming the limitations of traditional immunotherapies. The company's M-gager® platform generates highly selective antibody-derived TCEs that target both conventional and previously inaccessible tumor antigens, including intracellular antigens presented on MHC, as well as disease-driving immune cell populations. This approach enhances therapeutic efficacy while minimizing off-target effects, potentially expanding the reach of immunotherapies to a wider range of patients. The company's lead program, CDR404, is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for solid tumors, and the pipeline includes additional candidates targeting various cancers and autoimmune conditions.
