Problem
Traditional dental implants can sometimes face challenges in achieving optimal osseointegration and soft tissue regeneration, potentially leading to longer healing times and less predictable outcomes, especially in patients with compromised bone quality. The complex geometries required for enhanced implant surfaces are difficult to manufacture using conventional methods.
Solution
Andrew Medical provides dental implants manufactured using advanced 3D printing technology to create a trabecular surface that mimics the structure of natural bone. This unique surface enhances osteoconductivity and promotes better adhesion of dental pulp stem cells, leading to improved osseointegration and faster healing. The 3D-printed titanium surface features an open-cell form with interconnected pores, which facilitates cell adhesion and improves osteogenic marker profiles. The anti-adhesive properties of the surface may also help to prevent medical device infections.
Target Audience
The primary target audience includes dentists, oral surgeons, and implantologists seeking advanced implant solutions for improved osseointegration, faster healing, and predictable outcomes in a variety of clinical scenarios.
