Problem
Airport duty officers and air traffic services must assess runway safety quickly, but generating Runway Condition Codes, Runway Condition Reports, and SNOWTAM messages manually is time‑consuming and prone to errors, especially when complying with ICAO and EASA regulations.
Solution
Bociek GRF is a containerized web module within the Airborne‑Hub suite that automates the creation of Runway Condition Codes (RWYCC), Runway Condition Reports (RCR), and SNOWTAM messages. Users input runway parameters, and the system applies the ICAO/EASA‑approved Runway Condition Assessment Matrix to produce compliant outputs in minutes. The application runs as a Docker image, allowing easy deployment on airport IT infrastructure with configurable volumes for databases and generated files. Results are exported as PDF reports ready for distribution to air traffic management, ATC, and ATS stakeholders. A free license is available for small airports, while larger operators can purchase annual or perpetual licenses that include extended history, technical assistance, and updates.
Target Audience
Primary customers are airport duty officers, runway management teams, and air traffic service providers responsible for runway safety reporting.
