ADEL is developing a portfolio of monoclonal antibodies and small molecules targeting key proteins implicated in Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Their lead candidates include antibodies against acetylated lysine 280 (acK280) on tau, unbound β2-microglobulin, and ApoE4. These antibodies are designed to selectively bind to and clear pathological forms of these proteins. ADEL is also advancing its proprietary ADTAC™ (Autophagic Degradation Targeting Chimera) platform, a technology designed to enhance the autophagic degradation of intracellular protein aggregates, offering a novel approach to mitigate disease progression.
